Pensions Tax Policy - where from and where next?
The Pensions Archive Trust has recently published an article by Jane Marshall to mark the centenary of the Finance Act 1921 receiving Royal Assent on 4 August 1921. It was under section 32 of the Act which gave superannuation funds exemption from income tax. The article traces the taxation of pension funds over the intervening years.
