The LPFA was set up in 1989 following the closure of the Greater London Council (GLC) and the Inner London Education Authority (ILEA). The LPFA took responsibility for managing the pension assets of those organisations and has subsequently grown by taking responsibility for managing the pensions for many London organisations.
If you’re unsure whether you have a pension with the LPFA, search our list to see if any of your former or current employers are listed here. If so, it’s possible you have an LPFA pension. Your next step would be to contact our administration provider, LPPA, to see if they have your details.
The Pension Tracing Service
If you think you have other pensions elsewhere and you’re not sure how to find them, the Government’s free Pension Tracing Service can help.
